Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held an Express Entry draw for Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) on August 6th 2020. A total of 250 FSTC applicants received invitations to apply (ITA) for permanent residence. Applicants with a minimum comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 415 were invited in this draw. IRCC held a draw on August 5th for all categories (FSW, FSTC and CEC) and invited 3,900 applicants with a minimum CRS score of 476. IRCC has issued 4,150 invitations in two days. Surprisingly, IRCC has issued a record number of ITAs in 2020 despite the COVID-19 pandemic and the international travel restrictions.
