Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has held an express entry draw for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC)  applicants on January 21st, 2021. The comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) cut off mark was 454, this cut off score was seven points lower than the previous draw dated January 7th 2021. The CEC program allows people with Canadian work experience to become permanent residents.

The Express entry system manages applications for permanent residence under the federal economic immigration programs. Applicants complete an online Express Entry profile to provide information about their skills, work experience, language ability, education and other details. Those who meet the criteria of one of the federal immigration programs such as the federal skilled worker program, the federal skilled trades program and  the Canadian experience class program will be accepted into a pool of candidates. IRCC uses the information in the profiles to rank applicants, based on points awarded in different categories. Candidates are awarded points for having a job offer, certain skills and experience or a provincial nomination. Applicants with the highest scores receive an ITA for permanent residence.

Please contact our firm at [email protected]  to see if you meet the criteria to get into the Express Entry pool.
