As of June 21, 2021, IRCC has announced that any foreign national holding a valid Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) may travel to Canada. This announcement removes the restrictions that has prevented foreign nationals with valid COPRs issued after March 18, 2020, from travelling to Canada. For individuals with expired or expiring COPRs that were issued after March 18, 2020, the Government of Canada will be providing additional information on when and how to obtain a new COPR. These individuals will only be able to travel to Canada once they receive a new COPR. Borders Law Firm will be closely following the situation on expired COPRs and will provide information on any updates provided by the Government of Canada. Back to all posts Share this post:

Ranjana Vashistha It was an exceptional experience with border law firm. They take time to understand client situation and offer the best option. Devika is well knowledgeable lawyer and easy to connect with. John took care of my case and went above and beyond my expectation. He was always there to answer my question.
