This means that if multiple candidates had a CRS score of 542, only those who submitted their Express Entry profiles before the tie-breaking date and time received an invitation. What Does This Mean for Applicants? The CRS cut-off of 542 in this round signals a competitive pool, reflecting the high demand for permanent residency under the Canadian Experience Class. Candidates who fell below the cut-off should consider strategies to improve their CRS score, such as: Obtaining a higher language test score. Gaining additional Canadian work experience or education.
