In the most recent Express Entry draw held today, on August 15, 2023, a total of 4,300 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued to eligible candidates. This draw encompassed the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program, Federal Skilled Trades (FST) program, Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and certain Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP). The highlight of this draw was the substantial reduction in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement. With a minimum CRS score of 496, this draw saw a remarkable 21-point drop from the CRS score of 517 required during the previous all-program draw held on August 1, 2023. Furthermore, this is the first time since June that the CRS score cut-off for an all-program draw was below 500. Canada’s dedication to increasing immigration numbers is evident from the remarkable figures. With a current total of 77,748 ITAs issued this year, Canada has already exceeded its ITA count for the entire year of 2022 by an impressive 72.3%. The projected issuance of 125,566 ITAs by the end of 2023 indicates that IRCC is on track to surpass its previous records. The Express Entry system has consistently demonstrated its effectiveness in attracting skilled workers to Canada. This draw represents the 26th round of invitations under the Express Entry framework in 2023, marking the 262nd overall draw since its inception. As part of its ambitious 2023-2025 Immigration Levels Plan, Canada aims to welcome 465,000 new permanent residents this year, with targets of 485,000 for 2024 and 500,000 for 2025. This three-year plan aims to admit a total of 1.45 million immigrants into Canada. In the event of multiple candidates with the same CRS score, priority was given to those who had submitted their Express Entry profiles prior to August 01, 2023 at 12:59:52 UTC. Baljinder Singh Everyone in this office was incredibly supportive and helpful. In a situation that could have been very stressful, they took care of EVERYTHING. Thanks Jenny and Devika for providing exceptional service. Dealt with them for the second case, they kept me in loop for the whole process. Highly recommend using them again which in hindsight I will not have to but if you ever need legal help, they are definitely the people to go to!
