Each year, Citizenship and Immigration Canada sets the cap on Ontario’s Provincial Nomination Program. CIC has just released the cap for 2015, and Ontario’s allocation has been set at 5,200. This quota is for both PNP and Express Entry applicants. The 2015 cap is a significant increase from the 2014 quota, which was set at 2,500 nominations. In 2013 the cap was only 1,300. It is clear that CIC continues to increase the allocation each year. Things are looking bright for applicants looking to immigrate to Ontario under the PNP stream.
