On January 11, IRCC Minister Ahmed Hussen announced that the Parents and Grandparents (PGP) Program Interest to Sponsor Form will be available online to potential sponsors starting from noon EST on January 28, 2019. The 2019 PGP Program will be accepting 27,000 Interest to Sponsor submissions on a first-come-first served basis through the IRCC website. Potential sponsors will then be invited to submit a complete application, in the order their submissions were received, until the 2019 cap of 20,000 complete applications is reached. Once invited, potential sponsors will have 60 calendar days from the date of their invitation to ensure IRCC receives their complete application for sponsorship. If you are seeking to sponsor your parents or grandparents, please ensure that you meet the income requirements of the PGP program. Michael Freeman The team at Borders - specifically Devika and Jenny - were an extraordinary support in navigating the Permanent Residency process. They were responsive and easily available, and incredibly detailed and thorough in their work.
